D-day Directive

The Letter you just read or will read, in my mind of the most powerful speeches ever written. General Dwight , D Eisenhower wrote to the brave men who were hours away from being in the single greatest invasion ever devised. Men of infantry , paratroopers and sailors were going to be on the great rout across the english channel and heading straight for the german war machine. The 101st airborne will strive to live up to expectaions and do what it does best , and be the best.
